April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born on July 4th in 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion for music writing. April Lockhart penned her first single, Different at the age twelve years old. When she was 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing and honed her musical abilities. She began writing with her dad at home in NY and LA soon after. April also added additional themes to the song "Take My Hand" for a few of her the friends she had who struggled with concerns like peer pressure issues, or even teenage suicide. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle influencer as well as working in partnerships with clean-cut beauty brands Ilia, has built an impressive fan base. She has a disability that is a component of her personality, but it's not all of the image. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability in her posts on Instagram, however she isn't making it the focal point of the post. The message is? We all have multiple aspects of identities and we're more than our physical selves. Lockhart tells Lockhart via video "I am not convinced that my physical appearance should define me. My goal is not to be an influencer on disability, because I've many more things to contribute." And it doesn't affect my daily life. I conduct things normally, and I've discovered my own method of adjusting the things. But, I consider it a very important component of my life. Self-acceptance is a long marathon but Lockhart is a true inspiration for this aspect. Lockhart admits to having had periods where she felt uncomfortable in wearing certain clothing styles which displayed her arms. She now wears whatever she likes. and she shares her photos on social networks. For her, self-love is a long trip. But I think that's for everyone, whatever their insecurity is. It's vital to surround yourself people who can discern and understand your heart.
