Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress, is known for her roles as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the roles of characters from the TV film Nightingales and the NBC series of the same name (which was only for a couple of episodes) and Erica Paget from CBS's drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio in the show Psych. Being a native of California she was attracted to acting from the time she was a child. Her acting career began through a variety of commercials. The first time she appeared on television was an NBCs It's Your Move sitcom episode in 1984. The following year, in the love story Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the big screen. Swan, who is known for her stunning voice and a blonde hair, has appeared in side roles in the last few years. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
